Specialist groups

It is the operational arm of the Strategy and Technology Board. The specialist groups are made up of all the members of the Strategic and Technological Advisory Board, excluding the members of the Strategic Advisory Board. They are grouped by sector speciality. In this way, the AfWASA gives African professionals or experts in the water and sanitation sector the opportunity to get together voluntarily, to form a group of specialists to identify and reflect on a problem in the sector in which they themselves are experts.

To form a new Specialist Group, a written request must be sent to the AfWASA Executive Board. Read more
